Born and raised in Roseville, California, Lauren moved to Long Beach to attend California State University, Long Beach. Lauren is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in human anatomy, with planned minors in both chemistry and mathematics. She plans to attend medical school for a career in Neurobiology.
While a sophomore at her high school, an administrator suggested that she tutor her peers. She did just that, starting with math tutoring as a peer instructor and successfully tutored many students in grades K-12, then progressing to tutor all subjects from history to Spanish. She now tutors for this nertwork several hours per week. Lauren works very well with students whgo deal with anxiety since she has experienced it herself since a young age. Lauren has been tutoring for approximately 8 years, and her experience makes her a very well-rounded tutor both in regards to subject matter and type of student.
Laurne covers math from middle school to college calculus and multivariable calculus, Spanish through high school level four, CP and AP United States history, high school English including both AP Literature and AP Language, and her available sciences include biology (CP, honors, and AP), chemistry (CP, honors, and AP), physiology, psychology (CP and AP), and AP environmental science. While specializing in math and science, she enjoys tutoring all subjects. Statistics AP is another course that she is excellent at tutoring in the Palos Verdes and Torrance areas.
